Dr. Robert R. Ross, Jr., is a board-certified Urologist and Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Ross is a member of the AMA, American Urologic Association, American Association of Clinical Urologists, American Association of Physicians and Surgeons, American Lithotripsy Society, Florida and Sarasota County Medical Societies, Florida Urologic Society, Royal Society of Medicine, and Venice Hospital Foundation (Director Emeritus).
Dr. Ross received his Bachelor of Science at the University of Michigan in 1958. He received his Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the Wayne State University in 1962, and then entered a general surgery internship. Dr. Ross then served in the United States Air Force as a medical officer from 1963 to 1966, and was awarded the Air Force Outstanding Unit Citation and Vietnam Service Medal, prior to his release from active duty in 1966.
